SL-1218 Orbital Polisher
This type of machine is not a floor sander, it is a polisher and should be used in the same manner as your standard rotary polishers. This is a great machine to use if you need a polisher and are not able to run a standard rotary unit.
Applications Include:
Screening floors after sanding them with the SL-8 & SL-7
Screen and recoating polyurethane-coated floors
Waxed floor scrubbing & polishing
Wood deck refinishing (Use with the Silver-Line U-2 under railings)
Lately there has been a lot written about this type of polisher. Articles have been published in various magazines that do not understand the process of floor sanding and refinishing. These articles can be misleading to the consumer, as some of the information oversells the product. Use the machine for what it was designed.
