How do Silver-Line sanders reduce your costs?

These machines use sandpaper cut from rolls of sandpaper, not expensive pre-made sanding belts. Compare the cost of sheets versus the cost of belts and you will find a huge difference. The money your company will save over the years will pay for the cost of the Pro-8 many, many times.

Minimal maintenance keeps your money in your pocket. The maintenance that is required is very easy to complete. Silver-Line sanders are built in the USA, eliminating overseas shipping costs and making the parts available quickly.

How do Silver-Line sanders reduce sanding time?

The 3 HP Universal motor (brush driven) will cut floors that are in the worst condition quickly and easily, while sanding to a beautiful finish. Brush driven motors are the strongest available to the professional market. Essex Silver-Line Corporation is the only manufacturer of floor sanding equipment that still uses these powerful motors. In some cases capacitor motors require power boosters and can bog down under pressure. Silver-Line sanders will help you finish your sanding faster.

The Pro-8 and Pro-12 have four pressure settings that are activated with a foot pedal. It is the easiest and fastest way to change drum pressure on any machine available to the professional. The changes are 25, 50, 75 and 100 pounds of pressure per square inch on the drum.

Each Silver-line sander includes a template for cutting the paper. It is easy to cut the paper to the right size and install it on the drum. The spring action cams make the drum simple to load. This new cam system allows even the newest employee to be able to cut without fear of chatter marks. A standard drum is going to cut better in tougher conditions than belt sanders. Quicker cutting to a chatter free finish saves money.

The professional line of sanders from Essex Silver-Line has two speed settings on each machine. The Pro-8 has a slower, more powerful 2400 RPM and a faster speed of 2800 RPM. The Pro-12 has speeds of 1800 and 2100 RPM. The machines can be switched between settings in a matter of minutes.

How do Silver-Line sanders reduce your Set up time?

The Pro-8 and Pro-12 can be easily set up by one employee. The demountable motor releases from the chassis with the turn of three handles so the motor can be removed and the chassis can be lifted up stairs. After the base of the machine is in the area to be sanded, the motor can be brought up and reinstalled on the machine. It is the simplest, most cost effective way to set up a professional machine.

Both the Pro-8 and Pro-12 are easy to hook up to power. The 30 amp twist lock plug is a universal type. Just plug the 62' cord into the machine, hook it into the available breaker box and then into whichever power source you choose. It is as simple as that.
